Second Visit
The second visit is called a Report of Findings visit. This is when the doctor will review the findings from the initial visit. On this visit a treatment plan is developed that is customized to serve the needs of the patient. The patients are presented with a choice to decide between two types of care in the office; Symptomatic Relief or Corrective Care.
Symptomatic Relief- Is purely that and solely focuses on reducing the symptoms presented by the patient. This is typically a shorter duration of care and is a great choice for someone who might be experiencing a more acute type of injury.
Corrective Care- Not only focuses on reducing the symptoms of the patient, but also focuses on correcting the underlying causes of the symptoms to begin with. Corrective care typically is a longer course of care and is a great choice for someone who has a more chronic condition, or is looking to improve their overall health and well-being, or performance in activities or sports.
